The Magnasonic SB41 Home Theater soundbase provides big theater performance without taking up the space of a larger surround sound system. In this video, we will show you how to set it up with a number of different devices.
- Use the Source button on the top of the soundbase, or the included remote control, to select your input.
- An LED on the front of the soundbase will indicate which input is selected
- Green for AUX
- Blue for Bluetooth
- Orange for USB
- White for HDMI ARC.
What is HDMI ARC?
HDMI ARC stands for Audio Return Channel. It sends an audio-only signal to your sound base, through one HDMI cable. To setup HDMI ARC:
- Press the Source on the top of the Soundbase, until the white LED flashes, or select HDMI ARC on the remote.
- Plug in one end of your HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your ARC enabled television, and plug the other end into the HDMI input on your soundbase.
HDMI ARC on the Magnasonic SB41 does not support Dolby Digital or DTS sound, so you may have to set the audio output on your device to PCM or Stereo. You may also have to enable the “External Speakers” function of your television.
